The Sabertooth EP was a concept we imagined while recording our very first song. We had played and practiced many songs up to that point and when it came time to record we couldn't pick just one. We demoed many different songs and decided on a few that would work together on an EP. We began recording in November of 2011 and worked on it until our computer died in June of 2012. It wasn't until December of 2014 we were able to bring the computer back from the dead. We were happy to find that our work was still there but it was incomplete. After listening to the songs and making notes on what we needed to rerecord due to Jack's increased skills over the span of time since we had last worked on the project we decided to release it as-is. We felt it would be a good marker on where we were as a band in 2012 and where we are now. There are a few missing pieces on some of the songs and things we could have done better, but overall, we are happy to be able to finally release these songs and look forward to recording some new tunes.
